A Saturday Stroll

Well the last few weeks have been a bit crazy, but I got to spend a good portion of the Saturday morning with just Nash, my camera and myself. Nash just wandered around the whole trail and I was happy just photographing the last bits of fall.

A Walk Through Collins Bay Park

Nothing like a weekend walk with Emily and Nash. The fall colours were out, but they are quickly fading and that only means one thing...WINTER! As you can tell by the first photo, Nash really enjoys this trail and being able to rip around in the forest.

Last weekend in Westport crescent

Well a year ago, my parent told my sister and myself that they would be selling the home that we spent close to 21 years in. I remember having my 4th birthday party in the house and I remember the last day I would call that place home before I moved to Kingston. You might be wondering why didn't I put up pictures of the house and I reply "If I showed you the house now, it would not be the same house I grew up in". The house on Westport crescent was loved by all in our family, especially the pets!

Bend Sinister @ The Mansion, Kingston, ON

Hailing from Vancouver, BC, Bend Sinister was here to close off the night with their powerful and catchy progressive rock. On their North American tour promoting their new album, Small Fame, this quartet got the floors shaking at The Mansion.

Man Cub @ The Mansion, Kingston, ON

The last of the local talent was powerpop quartet from Kingston, Man Cub. Recently releasing their first EP, Little Games, earlier this October, this band was here to put on a high energy show for this crowd. I am looking forward to seeing more of Man Cub on the scene.

Alex Leggett @ The Mansion, Kingston, ON

Following Far From Venus was Alex Leggett, from Gananoque, ON. His catchy acoustic pop-folk guitar stylings put the audience in a real feel good mood. Looking to see more of Alex in the future!

Far From Venus @ The Mansion, Kingston, ON

Thanksgiving sunday at The Mansion. Far From Venus kicked of the night and a great way to start the night of local talent opening up for Bend Sinister.

Lazy Saturday

It was a busy day in the apartment. My wife, Emily, and I did a whole apartment clean and we were also cooking our Thanksgiving dinner. So while Emily was cooking the feast, I was snapping photos of my monsters!

My pets, The giants!

He's a big Siberian and we expect him to be 20 pounds

Sometimes before bed, my pets show a much calmer side to them,which is a rarity in the daytime. I love capturing these moments! Loki, our nine month old, 13 pound Siberian cart, and Nash, our four year old, 95 pound, English Mastiff/Black Lab, are some really awesome pets to have!

Nash doesn't like cameras much.

I love shooting these two because they give off a lot of emotion in their facial expressions, especially Nash.

Wide Mouth Mason @ The Mansion, Kingston, ON

Hailing from Saskatoon, SK, Wide Mouth Mason finished at The Mansion on September 27. The three piece blues rock band, consisting of Shaun Verreault, Safwan Javed and Gordie Johnson, brought the house down with their soul filled jams.

The Balconies @ The Mansion, Kingston, ON

While I was waiting for The Balconies to start their set, a fan, Jacob, came up to me and told me that I should "brace myself for how awesome these guys are!" They hit the stage and "BAM". The three piece was here to impress.
